I have recently joined Wayne Behavioral Service, after over 20 years of practice at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City where I have been treating a wide array of patients with various psychiatric disorders including mood, anxiety, psychotic and attentional problems. My approach endorses the Bio-Psycho-Social model where various aspects of a person’s life are addressed in an empathic and caring approach, which includes psychotherapeutic interventions along with up to date pharmacological treatments.

My office hours include morning and evening hours to accommodate various patients’ needs. When we first meet, I will be conducting a thorough psychological as well as medical evaluation and provide careful listening to patient’s problems and needs along with education about various treatment modalities available.

I received my education at Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo Egypt, graduating in 1986.
