Susie Tushingham, PMHNP-BC
I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric provider with over 23 years of experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions. I earned my undergraduate degree from William Paterson University and completed my advanced training at Seton Hall University. My clinical focus is rooted in evidence-based psychiatric care, with an emphasis on medication management supported by personalized therapeutic approaches. In therapy, I draw from solution-focused techniques and motivational interviewing to help individuals identify strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve lasting, meaningful change. I have worked extensively with individuals recovering from addiction as well as members of law enforcement, bringing a trauma-informed and goal-oriented lens to care. I also spent many years working within public school systems, where I provided both medical and mental health services to students. This experience has strengthened my ability to support youth, families, and educators in navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges in school settings.
