Andrea Torres, PMHNP-BC

Andrea Torres, PMHNP-BC, is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about supporting emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. Since starting her nursing career in 2011, she has gained broad clinical experience across long-term care, critical care, and psychiatry, giving her a strong, well-rounded foundation in patient care across various healthcare settings.

Early in her academic journey, Andrea took on leadership roles, serving on her university’s nursing society committee and helping foster a sense of connection and support among her peers. Andrea’s passion for mental health care was shaped during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she witnessed the widespread psychological impact of isolation and uncertainty. This experience deepened her commitment to mental health and inspired her to advocate for those facing emotional and psychological challenges.

Known for her empathetic and approachable nature, Andrea fosters a therapeutic space where patients feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard. She honors the trust placed in her by listening with care and embracing each person’s unique story. She believes everyone deserves compassionate, personalized care and feels honored to support her patients as they heal, grow, and find renewed balance and purpose.
